KALGOORLIE'S BEST WEDDING?

If you have had the incredible honour of meeting Annie and Connor you already know we were in for the ride of our lives with this wedding and did we get that and so much more. We were so lucky to be blessed with an absolute picture perfect day because this couple deserved no less.

Annie and Connor chose to hold their ceremony at the Kalgoorlie Golf Course with the incredible Scott Mac, a marriage celebrant who traveled from Margaret River to conduct this wedding. Even though he stood behind me as I challenged a few rogue golfers in board shorts, the day would not have been the same without him and his killer dance moves at the reception... We will get to those photos later, Scott!

After the most Epic aisle confetti exit I have EVER witnessed we headed out with golf carts & bottles of champagne to start the bridal potraits.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding scouting locations I suggested an old church in a back street of Boulder. Annie immediatly replied with "my family used to go there" and after confiming the details with Grandma we discovered that not only was grandma's mother married in that church but Grandma herself was baptised there & made her first communion. It was also where Annie's mother and sisters were married and Annie's mum had her own wedding photos at the covenant next door. I know....GOOSEBUMPS.

Annie and Connor decided that this was the perfect location to surprise their bridal party with a vintage car they had found at the local Coffee & Cars morning owned by the wonderful Dazza.

Now im going to set the scene, The reception was in full swing, bridal party had made their unique entrances which included outfit swapping and a bit too much twerking which many of us can't unsee. The DJ cued the music 'We go together" by the greast cast starts blaring and the vintage car comes around the corner driving into the open air reception venue by Connor (Dazza has never let anyone else drive his car) trailing behind some cans and a 'Just Married' Sign.

Fast forward past all the teary speeches and some mild mentions of teenage computer search histories we were well into the celebrating the night away.

This family has a way of making you feel exactly like you belong. Everyone was having the time of their lives and just living in the present. It was electric to be included in.

Every part of this day was executed to perfection with the whole family working to make this day exactly what Annie & Connor deserved. If you have spent time with Annie and Connor you know how effortlessly they fit together. How they are each others ying to their yang. This energy is contagious and I'm so honoured to have captured this day for them.

Kalgoorlie's best wedding deserved Kalgoorlie's best gallery delivery day...stay tuned for that post to come.....
